SARKA

Sarka is a lifestyle brand that sources and shares thoughtfully curated South Asian treasures across Sri Lanka. Meaning ‘with the sun’, its founders fell in love with the name as it was reminiscent of marigold fields in India and golden beaches in Sri Lanka. It captured the feeling of endless summers and their attitude toward their sourcing journey. The design strategy aimed to capture the calm confidence and beauty that wearers feel in Sarka, and the identity honed in on celebrating the timeless artistry behind each piece. My work for Sarka included competitor analysis, branding, developing a custom illustration style inspired by block print, and print design for business and earring cards.
