Pollinating Vancouver was a guide written by Fumika Noguchi and Hannah Byrne as part of the Climate Guides Mentorship Program in 2019. The guide was created for anyone looking to take action and aimed to help that one person looking to create change at home, a group of students looking for an environmental project, and/or a community wanting to introduce more greenery to their area. Since most environmental handouts are frequently tossed out or recycled, this guide was designed to be a keepsake - one that readers could keep coming back to for new ideas and inspiration. This was accomplished through a dynamic layout and vibrant, whimsical illustrations that reflected the importance of pollination throughout the booklet.
