Bodoni Type Specimen

The theme of the Bodoni 72 type specimen was 'Eterno' meaning timelessness. As a prominent, modern typeface used in high fashion, the goal was to capitalize on this aspect and portray Bodoni 72 as a brand in itself. That is a brand that is bold, contemporary, playful, and serious when it wants to be. Designers were the target audience for this project, and the aim was to promote the font in a manner that designers could envision it in being used in a multitude of ways. So, this type specimen focuses on the versatility of Bodoni 72 with a contemporary twist, while paying homage to its lineage. This type specimen was created for a student project on Typography.
